Vostok: Valentina Tereshkova vs Anna Lee Fisher (Wonderwomen In Space)

Vostok: Valentina Tereshkova (Валенти́на Влади́мировна Терешко́ва) vs Anna Lee Fisher , the speculation of which the face of female cosmonaut in the history is depicted on the dial.

Valentina Tereshkova was the first woman to go into space. In 1963, she spent almost three days in space and orbited Earth 48 times in her space capsule, Vostok 6. That was her only trip into space. Tereshkova later toured the world to promote Soviet science and became involved in Soviet politics.

Anna Lee Fisher (born August 24, 1949) is an American chemist, emergency physician, and a former NASA astronaut. Her first flight - STS-51A, a shuttle "Discovery" from November 8 to November 16, 1984. The flight duration was 7 days 23 hours 46 minutes.

As the speculation of the dial is never ended, some just call this watch as Vostok Cosmonaut. No one can confirm for sure unless the original dial designer ever speak about the design of the dial ;)

However judging by the release time of watch which is around 80s, and Anna's space flight happened in 1984, it is possible that the dial design is about her especially she has this very popular profile portrait photo.
